Ladybirds Senior Care Home established in 2016, a personal care home dedicated to providing shelter and support to the medically fragile within our community, including compassionate care for our hospice residents. We believe in making every day count by creating meaningful memoires.
Now we are expanding our services to include the IDD community. Those individuals born with an Intellectual Developmental Disability. The owners daughter is on the spectrum also, wanted to collaborate with other owners of like minds to have a community living environment that would foster true encouragement and cater to those in the IDD community.
With the establishment of Ladybirds blue print and a continued trust from the community. A new company solely dedicated to the IDD community has emerged , we like to introduce you to ABC Development Services .
Our vision remains centered on being advocates and protectors for those in need while fostering self-advocacy and independence. We are committed to maintaining the same high level of care for our Autism home, and IDD housemates. With each home thoughtfully designed to reflect the Ladybirds standard- a bright, airy and comfortable residential environment that feels like home and not a commercial facility.

Our residential group home is more like a community shared living experience. Offering private rooms only with shared common areas.
Located in Spring Texas. ABC Development Services offers a vibrant yet peaceful environment. Our community is surrounded by beautiful walking trails, Mercer Arboretum , nearby Equestrian ranch with trail rides, and convenient access to restaurants and shopping.

With a whole house Generac Generator our homes will always have power during any storm or power outages.
Adult Day Center ISS
During the day our housemates have the opportunity to attend a socialization skilled day center daily off-site with transportation being provided. At the adult day center the focus is on the individuals needs and their desires. With filed trips and fostering inclusiveness and friendship the day center becomes the highlight of the day.
Transportation & Appointments
In addition to our newer mini van , we are proud to announce we recently been blessed with a wheelchair van . Our transportation fleet is growing!
We will work with coordinating doctors and dental visits and any other health related visits.
Also, we have resources for transportation by way of Uber, Lyft and metro Lift .
Notables
1. Private family landline will be given to families once the individuals moves in. This allows the person to bypass the operator.
2. Restaurant of the month . Our housemates will have a chance to vote on the restaurant or eatery .This is a great example of community integration.
3. Recreational and leisure time is promoted within the home by playing games , watching movies, arts & crafts and also offsite visits traveling to parks, museums, stores
4. We have an open door -policy for families to visit anytime no restrictions on visits for families. We strive to be transparent just show up and come and visit your loved one any day of the week!

As a HCS Provider we are a Home and Community-based Services (HCS) is a Medicaid Waiver Program that provides community-based services and supports to eligible persons HCS is a Medicaid waiver program that supplies services and supports to Texans with an intellectual disability (ID) or a related condition so that they can live in the community. They can live with their families, in their own homes, or in small group homes with no more than 4 beds. The HCS Program is operated by the Texas Health and Human Services (HHS).

The Texas Home and Community-Based Services (HCS) program provides support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) so they can live in their own homes or other community settings instead of institutions. These services are facilitated by a licensed Texas HCS provider who contracts with HHSC to deliver services.
HCS Providers will deliver services and support designed to promote health and safety and independence, and community integration for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These services are based on each individual’s needs and preferences and their Individual Plan of Care (IPC).
The type and amount of services that an HCS provider delivers can vary greatly from individual to individual but may include the following services
